We have an incredible team at Klaviyo - collaborative, capable, diverse, fun - and we won’t settle for less. We’re looking for a passionate Compensation Partner to join our Total Rewards team. 

This position reports directly to the SVP, Total Rewards and will be a key partner throughout the business. To be successful in this role, you will need to build deep cross functional relationships with Klaviyo’s business partners, finance partners, recruiters, and leaders to not only attract and retain top talent but also scale our compensation programs as Klaviyo continues to expand within the US and internationally. 

How You Will Make a Difference...

Primary Function Areas:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for compensation requests from Klaviyo’s senior leadership team. You will also need to collaborate with Business Partners, Finance Partners, Recruiters, Business Leaders, and employees as necessary.
  • Partner with senior leadership to assist recommendations throughout Klaviyo’s mid year promotion and annual compensation cycle 
  • Prepare and present ad hoc compensation studies, enabling leaders to make informed decisions for their teams
  • Provide support and education to employees regarding compensation and equity programs via training sessions, newsletters, etc. 
  • Draft change management plans to support company philosophy and/or operational changes where impact may vary by department and employee level
  • Consult on the design of compensation programs that scale with Klaviyo as we continue to expand our footprint in the US and internationally
  • Make compensation data accuracy in Workday a priority, leading testing related to compensation processes
  • Proactively identify operational efficiencies and create clear, organized documentation of all adhoc and recurring requests/processes
  • Ensure that pay practices are compliant with regulations across all geographies where Klaviyo operates (i.e. FLSA classification, statutory/mandatory pay increases, etc.)

Who You Are...

  • BA degree in a related field
  • You have 8+ years experience working with compensation programs, administration, compliance and analysis, previous experience in an HR function and a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus
  • You have extensive experience with HRIS systems, compensation management tools and advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets programs, with a strong preference for Workday and Radford
  • You enjoy building things and continually strive to do things better than the status quo. You are intellectually curious.
  • You have a proven ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • You are organized with the ability to manage multiple high, and potentially shifting, priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • You have highly effective verbal and written communications skills; ability to distill complex concepts/information to employees and Senior Leaders in a digestible manner
  • You are able to work cross functionally with different areas of an organization
  • You pay attention to detail, have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$128,000$192,000 USD
