We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Category Manager to join our Procurement team. You will play a critical role in shaping our sourcing strategy, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality supplier relationships, and driving efficiencies across the IT and Engineering categories.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Management:
    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT and Engineering categories.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with company objectives.
    • Stay informed about market trends, technology advancements, and supplier innovations in IT and mobile messaging (SMS, RCS, app-based messaging).
  • Supplier Management:
    • Evaluate, select, and manage a robust supplier base to ensure best-in-class service, pricing, and quality.
    • Conduct supplier negotiations to achieve optimal contract terms and value-added services.
    • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives where needed.
  • Procurement Systems and Processes:
    • Leverage tools like Coupa, ZipHQ, and NetSuite to streamline procurement workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.
    • Drive process automation and efficiencies through system optimization.
  • Cost Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and value enhancement.
    • Implement strategic procurement practices to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Collaboration and Compliance:
    • Ensure alignment with legal, regulatory, and compliance standards in international markets.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders globally to address regional needs and challenges in the mobile messaging domain.
  • Data and Reporting:
    • Generate procurement KPIs and dashboards to track performance.
    • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: 
    • Own the relationships between Procurement and IT and Engineering business partners
    • Meet regularly to understand business needs and prioritizations 
    • Drive processes and relationships with Procurement Process groups (i.e. TPRM, FP&A, Legal, etc.) 

 

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in procurement, experience in the IT and Engineering categories as well as general proficiency in procurement systems such as Coupa and ZipHQ as well as NetSuite. A background in the domestic and international mobile messaging market (SMS, RCS, and app-based messaging) is highly desirable.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$92,000$138,000 USD
