Manager, Inbound Business Development @ Klaviyo!
Klaviyo is seeking a talented and dynamic Inbound BDR Manager to join our rapidly growing Sales organization. This role will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to effectively qualify inbound leads and provide an exceptional experience for prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales development leadership, talent acquisition, coaching, and performance management. This role will be instrumental in shaping Klaviyo’s future sales leaders and driving consistent revenue growth from inbound channels.
Hybrid: in Boston, MA 3x a week
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, and manage a team of high-performing Business Development Representatives. Develop a coaching culture that emphasizes professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Pipeline Ownership: Take full ownership of the monthly inbound pipeline goal, ensuring consistent achievement through rigorous performance tracking and optimization.
- Performance Management: Provide daily sales coaching and constructive feedback to improve conversion rates and drive consistent results.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity and success. Report trends effectively using Salesforce (SFDC) to inform strategic decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, and Marketing teams to optimize lead qualification processes and improve outbound productivity.
- Talent Development: Identify high-potential individuals, provide structured training and development plans, and groom them into future sales leaders within Klaviyo.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the inbound sales development process.
- Professionalism & Accountability: Maintain the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability within the team. Foster a high-energy, performance-driven culture.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in Marketing Technology.
- At least 1+ year of experience managing and hiring a Sales Development team in a SaaS environment.
- Prior closing experience is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of the front funnel and full sales cycle.
- Exceptional coaching and leadership skills, with a hands-on approach to talent development.
- Passionate about developing sales professionals and fostering career growth.
- Strong ability to assess skill gaps and implement targeted improvement plans.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a results-driven mindset.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for process efficiency.
- Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC), GONG, Zoom Info and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Some sales and success roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.
