As the Director of Marketing Strategy and Transformation, you will focus on leading transformative initiatives and managing cross-functional work streams within the marketing function to ensure the successful implementation of key programs and campaigns. You will work closely with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with organizational goals, oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, and lead efforts to optimize marketing campaigns. Reporting to the VP of Integrated Strategy & Marketing Operations, your responsibilities will encompass annual/quarterly planning, MBR/QBR reviews, strategic initiatives (i.e., international expansion), program management, and creative production. 

 

  • Own Annual Planning: Develop and execute a process to align marketing goals to company’s goals and activate across the full marketing organization. Run operating mechanics and drive goal-setting and initiative-building across marketing. Collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term marketing vision and goals, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Lead transformation initiatives: Oversee the planning and execution of high-impact cross-functional initiatives (i.e., international expansion). Develop timelines, run status meetings, and escalate blockers. Ensure that milestones are hit and progress is socialized.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure team members have the skills and resources needed to succeed and grow. Establish and maintain PMO policies, procedures, and standards tailored to the unique demands of marketing and creative projects.
  • Program Management: Oversee the portfolio of marketing campaigns and creative projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery from concept to execution. Monitor project performance through key metrics, ensuring that creative assets, campaigns, and other deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Facilitate regular project review meetings, offering high-level updates and insights to senior marketing leadership. Drive Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews for the Marketing organization. 
  • Creative Production Management: Coordinate and manage the production of creative assets, working closely with creative teams, designers, copywriters, and external vendors to ensure seamless production processes. Implement workflows and best practices that enhance efficiency and creativity in production.

 

What you’ve done:

  • >8 years of experience in marketing strategy and program management
  • At least 5+ years of people management experience with proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Monday.com) and familiarity with creative production tools is a plus.
  • Experience leading transformational initiatives and driving change within a marketing organization.
  • Located in San Francisco Bay Area, Denver, or Boston

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$172,000$258,000 USD
