Role Overview: 

As a Senior SMS Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with our Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to maximize their customers’ marketing potential through the Klaviyo platform as it relates to the customer’s SMS program. You will work closely with CSMs and their customers to enhance  SMS adoption, performance measurement and to develop revenue-driving strategies. You will also advance institutional SMS expertise through sharing insights, developing training programs and creating strategic resources.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized SMS marketing strategies that leverage the capabilities of the Klaviyo platform and improve SMS engagement and revenue growth.
  • Provide expert, tailored guidance on best practices for SMS marketing,compliance  segmentation, and personalization.
  • Monitor SMS campaign and flow performance and provide regular performance reports to customers.
  • Offer recommendations for SMS optimization, growth and campaign enhancement based on data insights.
  • Be an SMS evangelist by driving institutional knowledge forward and increasing customer adoption of advanced SMS strategies. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences through clear communication and effective relationship-building.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in SMS marketing. Additional experience in owned channels, email marketing, digital marketing or related fields preferred. Some brand/client side experience also preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Klaviyo or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful data-driven SMS marketing campaigns.
  • Advanced knowledge of SMS Compliance and Delivery 
  • Advanced understanding of SMS and email marketing best practices and strategies.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills to oversee campaigns from start to finish.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and the capability to articulate actionable insights with tradeoffs to persuade stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$128,000$192,000 USD
