Klaviyo is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director, HRBP (G&A) to join our rapidly expanding People Operations team. In this critical leadership position, you will directly support our G&A (General & Administrative) functions, working closely with key executives to align people strategies with business objectives. As a strategic partner to our senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Klaviyo's talent initiatives across Finance, Legal, and other G&A teams. You will focus on organizational development, leadership coaching, and driving impactful change in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary HRBP for G&A, directly supporting VP+ Executives, including the CFO, CLO, and CPO, with hands-on consultation to build healthy, high-performing teams.
  • Leadership Development: Guide and coach leaders through talent practices, performance management, succession planning, and proactive engagement strategies that foster leadership growth and team effectiveness.
  • Talent Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals, driving organizational design and transformational talent initiatives that enable scalable growth.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage people analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and drive actions that improve organizational health and performance.
  • Change Management: Lead and execute large-scale organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining high levels of employee engagement in a rapidly scaling environment.
  • DEI Advocacy: Partner with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) leaders to champion initiatives that create a more inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace.
  • People Programs: Collaborate with People Operations Centers of Excellence (COEs) to design and implement programs that enhance employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and career development.
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with company culture and values while driving positive employee experiences.

Who You Are

  • 12+ years of HRBP experience with a strong background supporting G&A organizations
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing HR teams
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and advising senior leaders, including the C-suite
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to influence decision-making through data and insights
  • Proven track record of driving organizational change in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Deep knowledge of HR processes, people operations, and employment law
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with a proactive, self-starter mindset
  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation and hourly non-exempt roles are eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. This role is eligible for benefits, including: medical, dental and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), flexible paid time off and company-paid holidays and a culture of learning that includes a learning allowance and access to a professional coaching service for all employees.

Base Pay Range For US Locations:
$196,000$294,000 USD
